Live Music in the Garden - Friday, August 7th Dinner @ 6:30pm Music @ 7pm We’ve gathered some of our favourite Vic musicians to play in the garden on August 7th!! As usual, this event is FREE! AND it wouldn’t be a garden event without free food, so we’ll be cooking up some dinner to share with you all<3 We recommend bringing a blanket/chair to sit on, and probably a sweater for when it gets chilly later on! A container and utensils for eating dinner are also a good idea :-) Prisoners Justice Day - Monday, August 10th, 5pm A gathering in the garden for Prisoners Justice Day, an annual day to remember those who have died in prison and to advocate for prisoners' rights. The CCG is honoured to be a space where folks can gather to listen, learn, share, and resist against the dehumanization of our friends, neighbours, and members of our communities. |

These are drop-in style (come whenever, stay for however long) volunteer sessions where folks can help staff with whatever we've got going on. Meet us at the gazebo at 2pm or come find us working in the garden! Summer Gardening Series every Wednesday from 5pm - 7pm! Whether you've got decades of experience or are brand new to growing, our gardening series is a great way to learn new things, share your knowledge, meet new folks, and get your hands in the dirt!! We're running these weekly on Wednesday evenings, and will have a new focus every week depending on what folks want to learn about and/or work on :-) Kinglet Qmunity Knitting Circle - every second Monday at 5pm in the garden! A sweet little knitting group that meets in the garden - next circle is August 3rd! |
