The garden loves to host poets, writers, and musicians to read or perform their work either as a headliner or as part of an open mic. Before we showcase any bands or headlining readers, we always like to open with an open mic! We've been told it's a particularly un-intimidating setting for new or nervous readers :)
If you're interested in headlining an open mic, or have a suggestion for a reader you'd like to hear, please reach out to [email protected]. Seating: limited; picnic tables and low wooden benches, plus a few chairs. Feel free to bring your own picnic blanket or camping chairs, or email [email protected] if you'd like a chair saved for accessibility. Drinks: We have tap water. Tea or lemonade, weather depending, will be available free while supply lasts. Bring your own mug or bottle! :) Bathroom: There is one compost toilet on site. It's wheelchair friendly, but there is a slight lip to the cement pad, and it is currently reachable by a grass path.
