The Campus Community Garden employs 4-5 staff during the winter season and 5-6 during the busy summer season, plus work study students.

Jack (he/him)

Coordinator

Jack is a Social Work major who  loves cooking, travelling, and annoying his roommates by playing music with his band! You can find him growing microgreens in the office or slinging compost in the garden.

Assistant Coordinator

Juls is a fourth year writing major who loves combining her passion for writing with her love of gardening. He looks after plot renter logistics and assists with social media, events, and the garden board. Find him in the office or at the garden during work parties!

Site Officer

Kate can be found in the garden prepping food bank harvests, wrangling hoses, and losing track of their hori hori - all in a day's work! They're psyched to be spending a third summer with the CCG!

Outreach Officer

Jessi moved to Victoria in September 2023 to start at Uvic, and being involved with the CCG has been one of her favourite parts of life here! She's excited to be a part of the team, and looking forward to experiencing all the seasons of the garden :)

Alannah (she/her)

Site Officer

My love of being in the garden started when I was little, gardening alongside my Nana, who had a literal food forest just outside her back door, which only now I fully appreciate. For me, nothing beats walking around the garden barefoot, enjoying an endless variety of delicious snacks within arms reach!

Liva (she/her)

Site Officer

Liva is an Environmental studies and Psychology major. You can find her tidepooling or snorkeling along the Salish Sea or growing melons in her plot.
